When AriaMaestosa launches, it tries to launch timiditty++ as a daemon and prompts for which midi output port you want to use.

Although I still don't have timiditty++ installed yet (the software synth required as a dependency) and still only 23MB downloaded of the 114MB fluid-soundfont-gm file (the other remaining dependency), I tried a little experiment.

When I tried installing the rpm package yesterday using yum I got no errors. Run the command: md5sum AriaMaestosa-1.2.Īnd compare your results with those shown above.
